This piece marks the beginning of my acrylic-on-canvas journey.  Take a ride with me to experience a delightful mix of imperfect art, vibrant colors, and musical expression.  Mike Ness, lead singer and founder of the wildly successful band, Social Distortion, mixes punk, blues, rock and roll, and rockabilly to evoke images of life from the wrong side of the tracks.  Combining hope and angst, imprisonment and freedom, Ness has established himself as not only one of rock's greatest guitarists and singers, but also one of the best storytellers of the many genres he touches.
