Rhino in Blue

One of my early watercolor on paper pieces, this one perplexes my family.  They want to say "That's great dad!". But more often than not it's "Uh..is that a car?"  But don't let that fool you.  This piece is a simple example of how form can come quickly and out of the blue.  There was no intention in this one.  It came from a few random placements of watercolor.  And now it can naturally appear on your wall.

Proceeds from this piece, and our other prints, will help fund an educational adventure for our family.  We will be moving for two years across the pond to introduce our children and grandchildren to the various peoples and cultures that make up our world.  This cultural immersion experience will allow our children and theirs to better understand the world and to help them make informed decisions about their religious preferences.  Further, we hope to help foster a sense of unity and peace as we discover how our differences do not diminish our shared traits.
